A small trail stretched the perimeter of the island, with blueberry bushes scattered on either side. I looked out onto Mineral Basin, to see miles and miles of gnarly snowcapped mountains and trees peppered across the landscape. Was I in heaven? To our surprise, there was not a soul there. It felt pretty amazing to have an entire natural hot-tub all to ourselves.
